Happy 2014. A Look Back at It’s All Virtual in 2013.

2013 Blog Summary

Introduction

Five years ago, I launched this blog to write on any and all things related to virtual events. To date, 392 posts were published, with 44 published in 2013. I  published my share of virtual events posts in 2013, but continued to widen the breadth of topics. A few of the more popular topics in 2013 were:

  1. Posts on social media.
  2. Posts on content marketing.
  3. Posts on personal branding.

Product Marketing: Popular

Two of the most popular posts of 2013 focused on product marketing.

Popular post from 2013

In January, I published “How to Do Product Marketing Without Marketing Your Product.” The post covered everything from inbound marketing to thought leadership to online communities to building great products.

In April, I published “10 Reasons Storytelling is The New Product Marketing.” As a side note, I noticed the stock image I used (in this post) on a magazine cover at my supermarket’s newsstand. That bummed me out. My next post just might be: “10 Reasons Stock Art Should Not Be Used in Product Marketing.”
